Starcard
A group voice message gift.
Starcard is a group voice message gift. Everyone who cares about someone records a short voice message. All the voices come together in one gift, and the recipient gets an interactive reveal.
What it is
Friends and family record short voice messages. All the voices come together in one gift. The recipient gets an interactive reveal, on a birthday, a wedding, a graduation, or another day worth marking. There is no app to download.
Key facts
- It costs less than a Starbucks coffee. One card holds up to 25 voices.
- Each message can be up to 3 minutes.
- There is no app to download. Contributors record in the browser.
- You share one link. The organizer gets a 4-second preview of every saved voice. The finished gift plays every message in full.
- Occasions include a birthday, wedding, graduation, retirement, farewell, get well, or something else you name.
How it started
Ryan built Starcard for his girlfriend so voice recordings would feel special to open, not like another disappearing chat voice note. People asked for it, so we made it available to anyone who wants to give the same kind of gift.
Starcardgift LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, does business as Starcard.
