What Starcard provides

Starcard lets an organizer collect voice messages from contributors and arrange them into a private, shareable digital gift for a recipient. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase a Starcard or create an organizer account.

Accounts and communications

You are responsible for using an email address you control and for protecting private links associated with your account and cards. We may send service and transactional messages needed to authenticate you, process and confirm payments, collect contributions, deliver cards, provide support, or communicate important security or legal information. Marketing messages are optional and require a separate choice where applicable.

Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of recordings and other content you provide. You grant Starcard a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and deliver that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.

You may upload or invite content only when you have the right to do so. An organizer is responsible for choosing appropriate contributors and recipients, and each contributor is responsible for the recording and other information they submit.

Payment

Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed by Stripe. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, a purchase is a one-time payment for one Starcard. Applicable taxes may be added where required. Except where law requires otherwise, completed digital-service purchases are non-refundable after the card has been finalized and made available for delivery. Contact us if a technical problem prevents Starcard from providing the purchased service.

Private links and delivery

Invitation and recipient links are designed to be private, but anyone who has a valid link may be able to access the associated page. Keep links within the intended group and ask recipients to do the same. Optional riddles provide an additional experience gate, not a guarantee that only one named person can open the card.

Storage and removal

Finalized Starcards do not expire automatically. We retain a Starcard until its organizer deletes it or closes the account, or until removal is reasonably necessary to comply with law, address abuse or security, or operate the service. We may give reasonable notice before an operational removal when circumstances allow.

Acceptable use

You may not use Starcard to:

• break the law or violate another person’s rights;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, or deceive anyone;
• upload malware or interfere with the service;
• probe or bypass access controls, private links, or security measures;
• resell the service or use it to send unsolicited bulk messages; or
• upload content you do not have permission to share.

Service availability

We work to keep Starcard available, but the service may occasionally be interrupted or changed. We may suspend access to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. We will use reasonable care when making changes that affect active paid cards.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Starcard is provided “as is” and without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Starcardgift LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability arising from a Starcard will not exceed the amount paid for that Starcard. These limits do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice or request a new acceptance when required by law or when a change is material. Changes apply prospectively.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not take away mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
